From the proxy management tab, click on the green add/plus button, and then click "Custom list". A window will appear that accepts new proxy details.

Ideally, you want two things from your proxies.

• Close to target region (as close as possible)
• High uptime (active almost every time you connect)

Although there are several ways of gathering proxies, we generally recommend one of these methods:

• Our Proxy Scraper, obviously!
• Use your favorite search engine and try phrases that include 'proxies' and 'proxy list'.  You may also want to include your country or region in searches as well.  For example, you could try 'free proxy list usa' for free USA proxies, and 'buy proxies usa' to look for private/premium USA proxies.
• Rent private proxies or VPNs.  One popular place is hidemyass.com.

Scanning the installer and/or application at VirusTotal (must be application executable if installer is over 20mb), a comprehensive online virus scan, will show that there is nothing malicious; a small number of anti-virus software may show false positives, whether it's because they're overly-sensitive or use algorithms that aren't developed very well.

We're listed on a large number of download sites, which would not be possible if we sold/provided malware.

Use the standard download link on the software's page, or click the "My Account" link in the navigation menu and use the provided download links (alternate links are available after a license has been purchased), and register/activate your license from inside the application ("File->License Management" menu item).

Of course! On the software's page, you'll see a link that says "Download 'SOFTWARE NAME'". Just click the link to download the application; without a registered license the application will start in demo mode.

Multi-threaded means performing multiple operations at once. Depending on the capabilities of your computer's processor, this may be "simulated threads".

For example: a single-core processor that has one real thread can only really do one thing at a time, but simulates multiple threads by starting/stopping each simulated thread in short increments, giving the illusion of multiple threads. A dual-core (or higher) or single-core (with two or greater real threads) processor can perform multiple tasks at the same time.

Any time a program allows you to set a number of threads for operations, keep simulated threads and your CPU's capabilities in mind. Most of today's CPUs are fast enough that you'll almost never notice these "simulated threads". Performance bottlenecks are usually noticed with a hard disk or internet connection with newer CPUs.

A proxy (proxy server) is a computer/server that acts as a middle-man and connects you to a web site/service. There are many reasons for using a proxy server. The most prominent reason is for internet privacy. When you connect to a proxy, it forwards your request to the site/service you're trying to reach, but it appears as if it's the proxy connecting, not you.

Not all proxy servers hide all of your details, and may expose the fact that you are using a proxy. These are known as low-anonymity proxies. A proxy server that only forwards a request without hiding origin details is known as a transparent proxy (no anonymity). To ensure your identity is being hidden while online, use only high-anonymity proxies, they will hide all details that expose proxy use.

There are several ways to find and test proxies for anonymity, including our Proxy Scraper.

The program's files were not copied into the directory specified during installation.  There are two ways to correctly copy files during installation if you experience this issue:

• The installer was run without correct user privileges (limited user account). Make sure the user account you're using to install with has installation privileges, otherwise you will need to run the installer with elevated privileges. In Windows, right-click on the installer and select "Run as administrator". This will ensure that the installer is able to copy files into it's install directory.
   
• You can also try selecting a different installation directory, one that belongs to your user account, limited or not. For example, you could select a folder under "My Documents" since you 'own' it.

If you would like for us to add any alternative currencies/processors, let us know what sort of alternative payments you are comfortable with, (whether it be BitCoins, Plimus. MonsterPay, WebMoney, Serve.com, Dwolla, MoneyPak, Money Order, and any other alternative currency) and we will see what we can do to accommodate your needs. Investigating and (if the payment method is compatible & approved) adding a new payment processor would generally take 1 business day, unless a particular payment method has a time delay for acceptance which would require the number of days set by said processor/currency.

We want all of our customers to have a comfortable and quick checkout process, and not force them to hassle with services you haven't already signed up for or are not comfortable using a particular service. We want to provide payment methods that are most convenient for our customers, and if we do not currently provide a service you prefer, we would love to hear what would be best for you and see about making an alternative payment method to suit the needs of our customers.

Some users may experience this issue when logged in and trying to complete checkout. If this happens to you, simply click the "Checkout" link in the left-hand column's cart area instead.

Make sure that you are entering your correct billing information on the order form, and that your current billing information is up-to-date with your card issuer.

We recommend once daily. Most sources of proxies do not change often enough to scrape more than once per day. Testing is dependent more on your preferences. Although testing once daily is ok, you should keep in mind that some (mostly free/public) proxies have a low uptime, meaning that some proxies are frequently inactive when you attempt to connect to them.

You can view all purchased licenses, along with alternate download links, by logging into your account and clicking on the "My Account" link on the navigation menu.

Each non-free application includes a license manager that allows you to 'reset' your license, generally available by clicking 'File->License Management' in the application. After performing a successful reset, just click 'activate' in the license manager. If you encounter problems when resetting, submit a ticket at our Support Center.

Each license includes free updates for life. Updates include both major (1.0 to 2.0) and minor (1.1 to 1.2) versions at no extra charge.
